How about a nice and simple tutorial (or is it?) for creating a splash/start up screen.

Most apps have them before going on to the main program. Im sure its just a view with a timer that transitions after x seconds.

This might be (for you) a quick and simple one :)

I have a simple solution to this, not quite as vesatile as a dedicated splash screen but….

If you add a Default.png to the resources folder this will be displayed as the application loads!!!
