I'm new to the Mac. I've been programming in the Windows world for years.  In the windows world, the following keyboard shortcuts do the following things.

  • End –> takes you to the end of the line you are workign on (in xCode it takes yo uto the end of the document)
  • Start –> takes you to the start of the line you areworking on (in xCode it takes you to the start of the doc)
  • Shift-End –> highlights from the cursor postition to the endofthe current line (in xCode it highlights to the end of the doc)
  • Shift-Home –> highlights from cursor to the start of the current line (in xCode it highlights to the start of the doc)

Are there xCode shortcuts that do the above.

Thanks

OK, I can answer my own question:

<Cmd> –> jumps to the end of a line

<Cmd> <– jumps to the beginning of a line

<Cmd><Shift> –> highlights to the end

<Cmd><Shift> <– highlights to the beginning

<Ctrl><Shift> –> highlights word by word to the right

<Ctrl><Shift> <– highlights word by word to the left
