Just gotta say, this is the best website for learning to program the iPhone. All the others seem to be no help, or aimed at cocoa programmers who are moving over to cocoa-touch, so no good to us lot.

I come from a Java (desktop) and PHP (web) programming background, so learning cocoa-touch, objective-c and the iPhone stuff all at the same time, is a bit overwealming, but Brandon's tutorials make things make sense.

I'll probably have many questions to ask on here, and hopefully impart some wisdom myself…once I have some Laughing

Cheers!

Hey man,

I'm glad the site was helpful to you.  I too have an extensive background in PHP and JAVA.  I think the JAVA background comes in very handy in understanding the object oriented nature of iPhone Development.

Feel free to post any questions and I will try to do my best to answer them.  Thanks for being a part of the site.

If debugging is the process of removing bugs, then programming must be the process of putting them in.
