No More iPhone Developer NDA

It looks like iCodeBlog is no longer illegal! Lol.  Apple has just announced that they are doing away with their “F-ing” NDA (as it has been coined).  This is great news for developers as we can now talk safely in the open about development for the iPhone  without fear.

This pesky NDA has been annoying developers since the beginning of (iPhone Development) time.  Maybe now, we will start seeing some great books being published for iPhone development.

Finally! Now the next step for Apple is to publish the exact critera for approving or rejecting iPhone apps, and the dev community will be happy again.

(BTW, did they also remove the NDA that they recently added to their rejection emails?)

they still have those

there are certain NDA’s that are still in effect, such as beta testing versions, new software, and new hardware stuff…they will release the new one next week,

but at least now people can write books and openly talk about existing code projects, and development as long as it does not violate the new NDA’s..which we will know what they are soon

Hey man, your video/text tutorials are simply wonderful. I run and own http://www.iphonedevforums.com the very first iPhone Development forum to hit the scene. I am working on a complete site overhaul and am making sections for video and text tutorials. I would love to get the chance to discuss some partnership opportunities and if not, it would be worth the time just to chat with a fellow iPhone enthusiast.
Please contact me at the email that I put in this comment.
Thanks,
