how to use one timer for the two views

hi

i m using a timer  of my own code and now i want to show its updated time on two views on which i have taken labels for the seconds and minutes and if i load the another view page than label gets the zero values and timer got  the 00 values at both minutes and the secomds label how can i use this timer to show it on two page if once stated then it should be stopped  up  on its timer completion time either i go on any one view or pages it should be in contnue form i m developig this application by using objective c and the mac operationg system  for the iphone application and it should be a simulator programme

How are you passing the timer in and out of the views? Im assuming your using NSTimer object to get a tmer value. One way is to start the timer at a superview and then pass the refrence of it to a subview . You may also want to call [Mytimer isValid] to make sure that the timer object is still valid.
