Also you apparently didn’t try both because they do very different things. The App Store is a crowded market, so you are bound to rub shoulders with similar apps. Also this app obviously doesn’t have the design time spent on it like Bird’s Eye does. And I also kinda don’t get it. I see Twitter accounts around map, but not specific tweets. And all it does is a search not a stream.
