I mean, you can't just assume that the owner of an Apple TV also has a multitouch iOS device, that would be a little strange. So the developers need to make Apps for the Apple Remote, or Apple needs to make a multitouch remote for the Apple TV, which would be totally ridiculous. If the developers need to make Apps for the Apple Remote the iTV would be just Boxee, which I think is a good think to do, but it won't be a real game console, unless Apple ships it with some kind'a game controller, but I don't think that is going top happen very soon...
