Apple’s developer center is down for now.  But, I can assure you we will be downloading the SDK as soon as it goes live.

    I’m in :-)

Downloading the SDK now. I’ll be pissed off if it turns out that the existing AppStore will be imported to the iPad as-is. That would mean that there would be no early bird advantage in iPad application development. Melbourne developer community seems very excited about the launch though.

    Cheers,

I’m excited to see what you come up with in the way of iPad tutorials. Your site has been a great help in learning to code for the iPhone and I’m sure you’ll keep up the good work.

Thanks for all that you have done for the community!

Just opened up XCode 3.2.2 and did a quick transition of an existing project to launch in the iPad simulator but it crashed right away. Which I can forgive, because who knows whats up with that. One of the first things my app does is check if Location Services is turned on, so maybe thats the problem. Whatever.

More importantly, Brandon, your blog has been fantastic so far. Glad to know you’re still going to help us out in the future. My app got approved just last week (Zombie Air Strike), and its been an exciting few months of development. Early on I was checking this site daily to work through some of your old posts. So thanks a ton!

For me “transition” menu item is disabled. Any ideas why?

@Mugunth you have to select the target and then click transition. Hope that helps
